Our Great Great Grand Father Samuel W. Seton (1830s -1908) illustrated the attitude that you can be part of a system and still make corrections within the system. He was a man of traditional ethics background who came to accept the standard of living of the Liberian Settlers Society and the dominant position of Liberian authority while remaining attached to his kinsman and loyal to his people.
